Roasted Honey Dijon Sweet Potatoes

These roasted sweet potatoes don’t just taste good, they’re actually good for you too.

45 minute cook time | Serves 2-3 | Suitable for: Lunch, Dinner

Take note that these roasted sweet potatoes are highly addicting and good for you too! We love pairing this dish with a nice leafy green salad, perfect for lunch and dinner.


  • 4 sweet potatoes, cut into wedges 
  • 1 + ½ tablespoons dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey 
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil 
  • A teaspoon of salt 

Herb Yoghurt 

  • ½ cup greek yoghurt
  • Juice of ½ lime 
  • ½ teaspoon of salt or more as needed 
  • 2 tablespoons dill, finely chopped. You can also use parsley or cilantro.

  • Mixing bowls 

Get your prep on! For quick and seamless cooking, always read through the recipe first and understand every step. Wash, cut, measure and weigh all your ingredients before you begin cooking. Then place all the ingredients on a single tray. Never measure as you go.

Roasted Sweet Potatoes 

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C or 400°F.

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk dijon mustard, honey and olive oil.

  3. Toss sweet potato wedges in the mixture with your hands. Make sure all wedges are evenly coated, wiping off any excess liquid.

  4. Lay sweet potato wedges in a single layer on a baking tray and roast for 15-20 minutes until browned and crisp at the edges. 

Herb Yoghurt Dressing

Mix all ingredients in a medium bowl: greek yoghurt, lime juice, salt, dill. Taste to adjust seasoning. 


Lay roasted sweet potatoes on a platter and drizzle with your yoghurt sauce. Serve and enjoy!
