Our first Sigla Cocktail of the Month is a bright and vibrant drink made with muddled mangoes, mint and calamansi.

Ingredients

  • ⅓ cup or 80 mL rhum or tequila
  • 20 mint leaves, chopped
  • ¼ cup calamansi juice
  • 2 tablespoons raw cane sugar or coconut sugar
  • 1 cup fresh mango chunks
  • 1 can or 355 mL soda water

Tools

  • Wooden Spoon
  • Pitcher
  • Jigger (Optional)

Top tips! You can have fun with our cooler recipe and use prosecco or white sparkling wine instead of soda water, or mix it up with other citrus fruits, such as dalandan, lime or lemon! If you prefer something sweeter, just add more sugar to taste.

  1. In a medium-sized pitcher, place mangoes, sugar and chopped mint leaves. Using a wooden spoon, crush mangoes and mint. Mix thoroughly.
  2. Add calamansi juice and rhum. Mix with your wooden spoon.
  3. Top off with soda water, give it a quick mix, then pour cooler over ice. Garnish with calamansi and more fresh mint - serve and enjoy!
